Crossref Connectivity

Explore any Crossref journal or publisher Prototype

Search by journal or publisher name — or enter an ISSN, a member:ID, an organization’s ROR, or a DOI — to measure identifier connectivity in Crossref metadata: how many authors, editors, affiliations, and funders carry the identifiers that could connect them.

Search for a journal or publisher (or enter an ISSN, member:ID, ROR, or DOI) and click Explore.
About: This tool measures identifier connectivity for Crossref metadata — a journal (ISSN), a publisher (Crossref member), or an organization’s ROR-identified works. It is the Crossref port of Metadata Connectivity: same engine, Crossref connectors. Connectors: authors (ORCIDs, affiliations, affiliation RORs), editors & translators (the contributor roles Crossref has), and funders (Funder Registry IDs / RORs). Crossref has no publisher-identifier or typed-rights fields, so those DataCite bars have no analog here; affiliation RORs are young in Crossref (publisher-asserted, <1% of works so far). All computation runs in your browser against live Crossref data — nothing is uploaded or stored; requests join Crossref’s polite pool (mailto=ted@metadatagamechangers.com) and transient API errors are retried automatically.
